Hey y'all!

I'm Kara, a college student with a track record of political engagement: I worked a full-time job in the halls of Congress when I was just sixteen years old, returning to work on Capitol Hill as an intern. As a member of the Council I will advocate for transparency in allocating our budget, open forums for community discussion, and help bring the council into the 21st century with an updated website and social media.

Am I young? Absolutely. But my youth does not translate to inexperience - I have worked with billion dollar companies in Deloitte's strategic consulting practice, gained business acumen with an internship at an investment bank, and will complete my degree at Emory University's Goizueta Business School and return home in 2024. 

A beloved professor once said that I have "moxie" - I will use that drive each day to make the Hunter's Creek Village community a safe, responsible, and vibrant place to call home.
